Getting Around the Port: This page is setup to give basic directions to the best viewing spots in Green Bay. I have included a general overview showing all major ways into Green Bay followed by more details maps of sites along the river for watching ships. From the North: Take 41 south into Green Bay. For the Metro Launch take the I-43 exit over the bridge and exit on Webster Ave. Turn Left. For downtown terminals take the Velp Ave. Exit left and follow it downtown. From the South: Take 41 N or I-43 north into Green Bay. For the Metro Launch on I-43 take I-43 north to Webster exit. Turn Right. If your coming from 41 N take the I-43 S. Exit (NOT 172) over the bridge to Webster Exit. Turn Left For downtown terminals on 41 N take the Velp Ave. exit and follow it downtown. From I-43 N. take 172 W to Webster Exit. Go straight through exit onto Riverside Dr. off ramp (stay to the Right Turn right on Riverside Dr. and follow along the river. From the East: Take either 57 54 or 29 west into Green Bay. For the Metro Launch on 54/57 and 29 take I-43 north to Webster Exit. Turn Right For Terminals downtown take Webster again, but turn left rather than right From the West: Take either 29/32 54 or 172 east into Green Bay to 41 north. For the Metro Launch take I-43 Exit over bridge to Webster Exit. Turn Left For Terminals downtown take 41 north to Velp Ave. Exit. Turn right and follow it downtown. |
